Dementia Services
We offer specialized care for individuals living with dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease and other cognitive impairments.
Our team provides compassionate, person-centered support focused on enhancing quality of life, managing behavioral symptoms, and offering guidance to families and caregivers.
Services include
1. cognitive assessments
2. memory care,
3. therapeutic engagement.
Outpatients Screening and Assessment Services
- Alzheimer’s disease
- Vascular (Multi-infarct Dementias)
- Other dementias e.g Parkinson’s and Fronto-temporal dementias
- Mild cognitive impairments and other unexplained memory symptoms
- Assessment of other Organic mental disorders e.g in Acquired Brain Injury
Crisis & Emergency Services
- 24 hours response to any psychiatric emergency
- Home treatment services
- Access to secure ambulance services to convey to hospital.
Admission
- For people with Severe Behaviour and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD)
- For people with unexplained symptoms suggestive of Dementia that requires 24 hours assessment and diagnostic observation
- Any Dementia associated with risk behaviours such as suicide intent or attempts
- Other complex Organic Disorders
- Acquired Brain Injury with risk behaviours including violence and aggression.
*Immediate appointment offered
Initial Assessment conducted with 7 days
Assessment Report completed within 14 days if required
** An initial admission period of 2-4 weeks is recommended
